English Title for a Kannada Cinema'Angel'

Once again an English title for a Kannada cinema! Only after the government rules these Kannada film producers learn the lessons it seems. Like in Tamil Nadu the emphasis to keep titles only in Tamil should be enforced in Kannada industry also.

Newcomer Dayakumar V Rao and producer Jyothi Raghunath have kept the title for the new film as ‘Angel’. It is Rs.1.5 crores budget cinema says Jyothi Raghunath who left behind the task of finishing ‘Life Style’ Kannada cinema.

‘Angel’ starring Nagkiran, Tushali and Rupika in lead roles had the presence of challenging star Darshan for the muhurut shot at Kanteerava studios on Thursday morning. Dayakumar V Rao worked with veterans like Geethapriya, Sundarnath Suvarana and KSR Doss as assistant. He has directed a few television serials in his professional life so far.

 For protagonist of the film Nagkiran out of two heroines one is ‘Attemagalu’ and other one a college friend. How the love blossom and who wins whom is the triangular fight in this film.

Veteran actor in comedy roles Mohan Juneja has penned the dialogues for this film. He has so far written dialogues for 15 films. He is also singing a song for the film ‘Angel’.

Who is the ‘Angel’? According to director Rao it is ‘Tushali’ but according to Rupika she is the ‘Angel’. The 70 percent of shooting will be held in Bangalore. Some portions will be covered in Bhatkal. Ananth Aryan music director of the film is utilizing the services of local talents for the film songs.
