It has been quite a while since Priyamani has been seen in a big ticket film. Despite having the right kind of talent and good sex appeal, her choice to opt for glamour roles has shortened her career. Else she was considered to become yet another Shobana or Revathi for south cinema.

It is heard that one bar dancer story is being worked for Priyamani and if everything materializes then one film is planned. Buzz is that Priyamani has been approached and the buxom beauty is also showing interest.

This genre of films is coming up after looking at ‘The Dirty Picture’. Also, with the ban on bar dancers of Mumbai being lifted by Supreme Court such type of stories is now coming up. Many say if Priyamani takes it up it is going to be good for her career. For now she has ‘Chandi’ which is being shaped up for her in a powerful way.
